For this new project I am working on I am designing a logo and after that I will work on the whole branding of the project.
To me a logo is not just picking a cool font, type the name of the brand and call it a logo. To me it is all about feeling. What does the brand stands for and what is the right feeling to go with it. And then comes the quest how to translate that feeling in to the right letters/characters/font.
For this project I decided to create all the characters of the word from scratch. Some keywords i wrote down for this brand are ; Loving, Dare, Stylish, Uncommon, Unique, Fun, Outstanding and Extrovert. With the keywords written down I go on your usual websites and app to get some inspiration. And then I start drawing some characters.
This time I started sketching the “E” and decided to go from there. When the first letter starts to come to life and it has the right feeling. I design the rest of the characters and then the logo will appear.
